US Fall Play Auditions

US students are invited to audition for the US Fall Play:  Museum by Tina Howe.

This contemporary comedy, set in a modern art exhibit, depicts the visitors of the museum and their relationships and interactions with one another and the exhibit itself. With over 40 unique characters, including art lovers, skeptics, critics, students, artists, tourists, and museum guards, there may be opportunities for actors to play multiple roles.

Auditions will be held after school in the theater on Tuesday, August 30th. Please prepare an approximately 1 minute contemporary monologue (comedic or dramatic) and sign up for one 40 minute block (3:15-3:55, 3:55-4:35, and 4:35-5:15). In addition to hearing monologues, we we also play some improv games in our audition groups so expect to be there for the full 40 minute block. To sign up for an audition, please email Matt Waters at mwaters@csus.org.

Callbacks will be held by invitation after school in the theater on Wednesday, August 31 and Thursday, September 1. During callbacks, auditionees will perform selected sides from the script.
