MS Robotics Club Wins Second Place for Innovative Project

The Middle School Robotics Club took second place for the Innovative Solution Award as part of the Northern California Peninsula District FLL Championship Tournament held recently in Burlingame.
The club’s advisor, Peter Antupit, explained their project:  “They researched current balloon technology and found that balloons take a long time to break down and sometimes get eaten by animals. The animals then die because the material clogs their digestive track. The team proposed using biodegradable packing material to make balloons. This material can break down quicker and thus will pose less of a threat to animals.” View photos>>

Congratulations to the ten 7th and 8th grade students in the club!
