Weekend of Wins
Saturday, November 15 was an exciting Saturday for CSUS! The Cross Country team, Girls Volleyball team and the Middle School Robotics team garnered significant wins to advance in their respective competitions.
It started with the Cross Country team Saturday morning at the Toro Park Course for the individual CCS CIF Championships. Senior Nick H had the fastest time and was named the Division 5 Champion. On the girls’ side, senior Katie C clocked the second fastest time and junior Lianne B took third place. The next race will be the State Meet in Fresno. Photos>>
In the afternoon, three Middle School Robotics teams participated in the first round of Lego Robotics competitions held at NASA Ames and Google. All three teams did a great job and advance to the Peninsula Regionals to be held in January 2015. Photos>>
In the evening, the US Girls Volleyball team played a CCS quarterfinal game vs. Anzar High School from San Juan Batista on Saturday evening. They won the game in 3 sets and advance to the semifinal round to be played on Wednesday, Nov. 19. Photo>>
