Commitment to Our Community

The Community Forum, under the direction of the Multicultural Leadership Team, is a series of experiences, both in and out of the classroom, that allow our our students, faculty, and parents to explore an issue of identity.

This year’s focus: Mental Health and Belonging at Crystal - Do our cultural norms related to mental health ensure that all members of the Crystal community thrive and belong?

Past topics have included socio-economic diversity in the Bay Area and gender identity. Some of the outcomes have included the formation of a middle school GSA, gender-neutral bathroom availability on campus, and more inclusive enrollment practices for new families.
