Crystal’s commitment to ensuring an inclusive community is spearheaded by the Multicultural Leadership Team composed of both faculty and students. Inclusion also extends to the parent community through various Parent Association liaisons as well as a Spanish Speaking Family Network. In addition to on-campus programs such as Crystal First and Human Development (community engagement focus), CSUS partners with Peninsula Bridge to offer students a robust educational experience. Crystal students themselves are leading the charge with initiatives such as Women Driving Change, LGBTQ Affinity groups, Diversity Day, and more.

Multicultural Leadership Team
Crystal’s Multicultural Leadership Team aims to develop the equity literacy and culturally responsive practices of faculty, staff, and students in order to live out our core values and ensure that the CSUS is a place where all community members are affirmed and able to thrive.
Crystal Springs Uplands School also supports parents and guardians during their child’s education through parent-specific programs such as the Spanish Speaking Family Network, Partners in Education, and various Parent Association Diversity and Inclusion Liaisons.
In addition to programs such as Crystal First, Human Development (community engagement), and student-led initiatives and events, Crystal partners with Peninsula Bridge to bring middle school students to campus for a five-week summer program. Find out more about Programs.
