Yomi is the CEO of Principia Engineering and spent eighteen years in engineering and project management for the City and County of San Francisco. He holds a BSME from San Francisco State University. He was born in Lagos, Nigeria and raised on four continents. My family values the deep sense of community and belonging that is core to the Crystal experience for students, faculty, and parents.
Ann worked in online supply chain management for Target and Restoration Hardware. She holds BAs in Economics and Spanish from the University of St Thomas. She served as the Vice Chair for the CuriOdyssey Science Museum Board. Crystal not only embodies exceptional academics, the faculty and administration foster an environment that encourages lifelong confidence and empowerment in students.
Chris runs Palace Games, a playable art company in San Francisco that builds immersive escape room experiences. Previously he ran several companies, including Red Herring, a media company that he co-founded while teaching at Crystal in the early 1990s. He holds a BA in History from Dartmouth. Crystal had a big influence on my life, and I am committed to ensuring that the school thrives for generations to come.

Andrea formerly worked in brand management and public affairs. She holds an MBA and BA International Relations from Stanford. Andrea serves as a trustee for KIPP Bay Area Schools and as an advisory board member for the Stanford Haas Center for Public Service. She is the former President of the Hillsborough Schools Foundation, and a former trustee for Family Connections and CuriOdyssey. Our family loves the engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment at Crystal.
Julia was a partner at the Cooley law firm. She holds a BA in Economics from UC Davis and a JD from Harvard Law. She serves as a trustee for Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco, is a member of the President’s Council of United Religions Initiative, and was formerly co-president of the Hillsborough Schools Foundation. My children have loved Crystal’s excellent teaching, and the opportunity to pursue continuing interests and discover new ones.
Gerry’s career has focused on the technology and media industries at Crispin Capital, Yahoo!, Booz Allen and Hewlett Packard. He spent a considerable portion of his career in Asia and speaks Japanese. Gerry holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Columbia and an MBA from Harvard. He served as treasurer for the Hillsborough School Foundation. The Crystal faculty have inspired my children to try new things and to live the Crystal values.
Josh is the founder of Walden Development, a commercial real estate developer. Previously, he was president of the western region for Kimco Realty Corporation. Josh holds a BA in History from UC Berkeley. He served as a trustee and chaired the capital planning committee for the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco. My wife and I love watching our kids thrive at Crystal.
Cristal was the executive director of a nonprofit law firm that provides civil legal services to the homeless. She has taught fundraising and board development in the nonprofit sector. She holds a BS from University of Virginia and an MBA from Columbia. She served as a trustee at Carey School. The committed and supportive Crystal faculty strikes the balance of nurturing and nudging -- helping students develop self-confidence, critical thinking, and an appreciation for different perspectives.
Sumir is the founder of WestBridge Capital, focused on investments in India. Previously he founded Sequoia India, and worked at Goldman Sachs and McKinsey. He holds an MBA from Harvard and a BSE Computer Science from Princeton. Sumir serves on the Board of Trustees at Princeton University, and on the Board of the American India Foundation. My daughter loves Crystal’s outstanding teachers and its warm, down to earth culture.
David is the co-founder and CEO of Lyra, a healthcare technology company focused on behavioural health. Previously he was the CFO at Facebook and Genentech. He holds an AB in International Relations and Economics from Brown. He serves on the President’s Leadership Council at Brown University. Crystal has been a great fit for our family. Our kids are getting a great education while enjoying school and developing new interests outside the classroom.
Jeff is a managing director and co-founder of Northern Light Venture Capital, which focuses on early stage opportunities in China. He holds an AB Economics from Harvard and an MBA from U Penn. Jeff is an active supporter of Harvard College, the Korean American Community Foundation of San Francisco, and the Mirae Foundation. My favorite aspect of Crystal is the close-knit and authentic culture of the community.
Kelly has been the Head of Upper School at Crystal for seven years, and at Crystal for ten years. Previously she was a college counselor, an English teacher, a Princeton admissions officer, and a management consultant. She holds an MBA and M.Ed. from Stanford and an AB Art and Archeology from Princeton. Kelly served as a trustee at the Carey School. Deep down, I am a Crystal student: I come to school fired up to learn every day.
Charles is a Superior Court Judge in Santa Clara County. Previously he served as Deputy District Attorney in Alameda County, and as a litigator in private practice. He holds a JD and MBA from University of San Francisco, and a BA from UCLA. Crystal faculty, students, and parents were a critical source of my educational and personal development.
Norman has worked as an entrepreneur and early-stage investor in healthcare and lived in Asia for over 20 years. He holds a BS in Biology from MIT and an MBA from Stanford. Norman has served as a board or advisory council member for Nature Conservancy (CA), Marine Science Institute, Positive Coaching Alliance, and Children’s Medical Foundation in Hong Kong. For me, the diversity and down-to-earth nature of the community are so Crystal.
Jennifer (Roldoni) Glore is a director of engineering Oracle. She holds a BS in Computer Engineering from Oxford and Santa Clara Universities. Jennifer serves on Phillips Brooks Parent Association and is a troop leader for the Girls Scouts. I love how the teachers have fostered a love of learning in my daughter, and encourage her to try things outside of her comfort zone.
Becky (Davidow) Logan was an elementary school teacher at Phillips Brooks School and taught parent education on topics from diversity to sibling conflict. She is a facilitator for Love and Logic parenting programs. She holds a BA Fine Arts from St. Lawrence and is a former trustee at Phillips Brooks School. I continue to be grateful for the foundation of lifelong learning that I gained at Crystal as a student.
Kristi has a family law mediation practice and was previously a partner at the law firms Berra Spence and Carr, McClellan. She holds a BA and a JD from Stanford. Kristi served as president of San Mateo County Bar Association. She is a former trustee at Pacific School of Religion, San Mateo Library Foundation, and Children’s Home Society. As a student, parent, faculty member and lifetime trustee, Crystal has always been an important and formative part of my life.
Wilson was an EVP at Palo Alto Networks, and previously held technical and management positions at Juniper, NetScreen and Network Associates. He holds a BE Computer Science from Tsinghua and an MS Computer Science from Penn State. Crystal’s engaged faculty and excellent programs motivate students to learn, enjoy and thrive.
Kate taught elementary school in Daly City. She holds a BA in Art History from Bates and a MEd and California teaching credential from the University of San Francisco. Kate has served on the boards of There With Care, Family Advisory Council at UCSF, and Ambassadors for Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. I was struck by Crystal’s authentic community of educators and families the first time I visited, and continue to revel in my children’s experiences.
Evan is the founder of NetSuite and is currently an EVP at Oracle. He holds a BA Applied Mathematics from Harvard. Evan founded BRCA Foundation, which supports research on inherited cancer syndromes. He serves as a trustee for V Foundation for Cancer Research, served as a trustee for Woodside School Foundation, and established a squash program for urban youth. I am thrilled by the fantastic programs and people at Crystal.
Bob is a managing director and founder of FPR Partners, a private investment firm. He earned an A.B. in History from Princeton and an M.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Oxford while on a Rhodes Scholarship. He also serves on the boards of the Fremont Group, Princeton University, and the S.D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation. What I love about Crystal is the unabashed intellectual engagement of its faculty and student body.
Josh is Partner and Managing Member at DFJ, a venture capital firm. He holds a BA from Dartmouth and an MBA from Stanford. Josh serves as a trustee for Stanford GSB Trust and previously served as a director for the Center for Venture Education and Kauffman Fellows Program. As a student, Crystal helped shape me into the person I am today. I learned to believe in myself, and that if I applied persistent effort I could tackle challenges that seem quite daunting.
Jenny is President and COO of Franklin Templeton Investments. She holds a BA in Economics from UC Davis. She is recognized as one of the most influential executives in asset management. Jenny serves as a board member for the BizWorld Foundation and the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital.
