An independent day school for grades 6-12

Affording a Crystal Education

Through Crystal’s robust financial aid program, we are committed to providing access to students who can bring diverse experiences and perspectives to the community.

Crystal distributes over $4 million dollars in financial aid to 21% of the student body. Financial aid awards range from $1,000 to full tuition, which is $49,110 for the 2019-20 academic year. All financial aid awards are grants and are not loans that need to be repaid.

In accordance with best practices at NAIS, our financial aid awards are need-based: all financial aid awards are based on a family’s financial need, and we do not offer any merit scholarships. The Financial Aid Committee determines financial need by reviewing family information submitted on SSS (School and Student Services).

Students who receive financial aid for tuition also benefit from a supplementary assistance fund to ensure that students receiving financial aid have the opportunity to have the same school experiences as other students.
