Celebrating Community: The Crystal Fund Annual Food & Wine Celebration

The Crystal Fund Annual Food & Wine Celebration has become a favorite tradition for our adult community. Each January, all donors who made a gift or pledge of any amount to the Crystal Fund by December 1 are invited to a unique "Thank You!" party that showcases local vintners, brewers, and restaurants who provide signature items to tempt everyone's palates (please see a list of participating vendors here).  Hundreds of donors enjoy this festive gathering demonstrating our shared love for and investment in Crystal.

Parents in a grade-level who are the first group to reach 100% participation in the Crystal Fund earn a special reception in the Head of School's Office along with the Crystal Fund volunteer team. This year, the seventh-grade parents won the honor and are pictured partying with Kelly Sortino in her office turned "speakeasy" for the night.

Impact of Giving

Over the past six decades, Crystal’s  high-quality, robust educational experience has been made possible by a significant investment of time, expertise and financial support on the part of our generous community. While gifts to the Crystal Fund support vital aspects of the educational program including faculty salaries, financial assistance, and classroom expenses, gifts to the capital campaign help Crystal achieve its strategic goals such as improvements to the facilities, new programs and increased endowment.

For more information about the Crystal Fund, please contact Kristy Cowan via email. For information about the capital campaign or other gifts, please contact Betsy Berman via email or by phone (650) 375-5431.
