Middle School Golfers Win the WBAL Fall Tournament
Four of Crystal's finest golfers went to Los Lagos Golf Course on Monday, October 28 to compete in the fall WBAL tournament. The team defended its 2019 Spring Championship by dominating the competition and winning the tournament by 11 strokes.
The team was led by seventh-grader Ethan L, who shot a three-under round of 31, which was the best score recorded on the day. Ethan had birdies on holes 1, 2, and 9 and an eagle at the 6th hole, a par five 484 yard which is the hardest hole on the course. Seventh-grader Edan C shot a one-under round of 33 to come in as the second-best score of the day. Edan recorded birdies at holes 1, 4 and 6. The team also had strong performances from seventh-graders Griffin C and Henry C. Griffin shot a 35 and Henry a 39 on the par 34 course.
All the Crystal golfers finished in the top 11 of all the golfers competing. Congratulations to the golfers on their amazing day and accomplishment.
