Music in the Mansion

Music in the Mansion (fka "Great Performances") is an annual concert featuring student musicians who showcase their talents, usually with different classical pieces, on various instruments such as guitar, cello, viola, piano, flute, oboe, and the guzheng.

Upper School instrumental music teacher Dr. Bruce Mishkit wrote:

"On behalf of Ms. Mann-Hauer, Mr. Fongheiser, and myself, we want to congratulate all of the musicians on an excellent performance on the evening of January 25th. We know full well how much time and effort it takes to learn a piece of music and prepare it for a concert. You all did an outstanding job.

What is particularly rewarding for us is to hear students perform year after year and experience not only their technical development but the development of their musicality and artistry. You should all be very proud of your accomplishments."

Please see the video of the concert here.
