Forensic DNA Lab Uncovers Canine Culprit

In Dr. Neal Fox's Advanced Topics in Biology (AT Bio) class, a crime was committed. His dog Ginny is a frequent visitor in the lab and enjoys playing with students along with her favorite toys, including "Big Lambie." One day Big Lambie was found wounded...

...with a great deal of her stuffing removed. Since Crystal is a dog-friendly campus, there are many potential suspects to consider. Who had motive and opportunity? Better yet, whose DNA was left at the crime scene? Students learned first-hand how to process DNA samples in this case of scientific whodunit. Turns out, it was Brownie, Head of School Kelly Sortino's Goldendoodle who lives on campus and visits many classrooms!
