Alumnae Teach About Mass Incarceration and Activism

Alums Sarina Deb '19 and Kaili Liang '19 presented to the entire Upper School during a Community Time Assembly in the spring of 2020 about the mass incarceration crisis, particularly for BIPOC individuals, and how students can be advocates for change about this and other social justice issues.
Their website, Jailed for Melanin, offers stories, education, history, resources, and a curriculum for schools.

Thanks to Sarina and Kailis for an enlightening and inspiring talk!
