Alumni Networking Event: Opening Doors, Changing Lives

The CSUS community is invited to join alumni and friends for a symposium featuring leaders in social justice and equity in education, banking, and law at the Middle School campus.

Speakers include:

Chris Bischof ‘88
Co-founder and Principal of Eastside College Preparatory School in East Palo Alto

Kat Taylor ’76
Co-founder of Beneficial State Bank, a Community Development Financial Institution

Hon. Charles Wilson ’93
Superior Court of Santa Clara County, Family Court

The CSUS Alumni Networking Event brings together alumni leaders in various industries and disciplines to share experiences, ideas, trends, and innovations on a chosen theme of broad interest and relevance.  Over the years, we have heard from panels of entrepreneurs, biotech scientists, investors, food industry professionals and more.
This year’s theme of “Changemakers” highlights alumni who make a significant social impact through their vocations.

The presentation will be followed by a Networking Reception with food, drinks and great conversation.  The event is open to Crystal community members--including alumni, parents, faculty/staff--and their guests.  RSVP: alumni@csus.org.

Changemaker (n) – A term coined by the social entrepreneurship organization, Ashoka, meaning one who desires change in the world and, by gathering knowledge and resources, makes that change happen.
