  • Middle School Family & Friends Day

    Middle School students welcomed friends and family to campus in February to experience a regular school day with classes, recess, and lunch.  Guests participated in interactive lessons and enjoyed the beautiful weather and vistas of the Belmont campus. One guest was eager "to go back to Middle School" after a fun-filled, but also stimulating day!

    On a recent Human Development Day, students engaged in meaningful work with community partners including Special Olympics, local food banks, schools with special needs or under-served students, youth centers, senior living communities, and more.   • Celebrating the Lunar New Year

    The annual Lunar New Year Banquet brought our Crystal community together on the Upper School campus as we celebrated the Year of the Pig. Delicious food and dazzling student performances were the main attraction. The evening was a celebration of the rich cultural identities found in our community and a reminder of how lucky we are to have these varied perspectives.

    It is not unusual to find Kent Holubar's history students in the art room. Most of his classes incorporate a hands-on art lesson as a way to understand different themes in history.   • Crystal Squash Finishes 9th in the Nation

    Crystal Squash competed in the Division 1 Squash finals in early February in Connecticut. They faced a tough first round, losing 4-3 to St. Paul's (Amy Richards current school--she was on hand to root on both teams!), but ended up winning the consolation bracket against St. Anne's and McDonough Schools to nab a top ten finish for the year.  View photos
