Crystal started the game strong with an early unassisted goal by senior Meg D in the 5th minute, then quickly followed by another goal in the 9th minute by freshman Camille L, assisted by junior Marlena B.
Clearly dominating the game, CSUS put in another goal in the 20th minute scored by freshman Nadia N, assisted by freshman Naila N. This was followed by a goal in the 21st minute by freshman Kat K and assisted by Marlena. CSUS finished the first half with an unassisted goal by Marlena in the 35th minute. The second half started with a new lineup, giving everyone on the team playing time and even giving goal keeper Elaine C some field time. Again CSUS started the half with an early goal in the 45th minute scored by freshman Reilly S, assisted by Kat K. It was great to see each player getting field time and finishing strong!
