Tennis is really about a player or doubles team solving the puzzle of the player(s) across the net. In his first singles match of the year, Justin L did a great job of solving the puzzle he faced today. Justin faced a player who employs a very similar style, keeping the ball in play and minimizing errors. Down 5-2 in the first set, Justin decided he needed to play more aggressively and to control points with his forehand. The match turned dramatically at that point with Justin winning 11 of the next 13 games for a 7-6, 6-1 victory. In typical fashion, Justin finished the match with a big service ace.

Brian B played his most aggressive match of the year, taking balls early and finishing at net often.

Josh C and Owen D overwhelmed their opponents with big serves and aggressive returns. The #1 team mixed up serving formations to confound their opponents.

Seniors Joe P and Kunal V won a decisive 3rd set tie-breaker after having dropped the second set. Both players made good decisions and executed under late match pressure.
