MS JVA Football Defeats Harker
After dropping their first game to a tough Sacred Heart team, the JVA football team traveled to Harker on Wednesday and came away with a 19-0 victory. The sixth-grade boys earned their first victory as Gryphons. The team was led by an amazing performance by Nikko P who scored all three touchdowns.
Nikko got the Gryphons on the scoreboard with a long interception return for a touchdown and also had two long touchdown runs from scrimmage. The team also had strong performances by quarterback Connor U and receiver Andrew B. The defense was incredible as they shut out Harker. The shut out was preserved by safety Lucas S who made a one-handed interception on the end zone. The team plays next on Monday, September 23 at Menlo.
