We've Got Spirit, How 'Bout You?
The week of September 16 was our annual Fall Spirit Week running up to Homecoming on the weekend. Both the Upper School and Middle School celebrated in tandem with Pajama Day, Twin Day, Beach Day, Color Day (each grade wears a different color), Gryphon Gear Day.
Classes with the most spirit as evidenced by their costumes win coveted Spirit Points that come with a fabulous group prize and bragging rights for the grade with the most points at the end of the school year.
The Dance Team kicked us off and the fall varsity team captains gave us a rundown of their season so far. Then two captains from each team competed in a version of "The Newlywed Game" to find out who knows their teammates the best. Girls Tennis Captains, Izzy L and Caitlin R, came out on top while brothers from the Boys Football Team, Ethan S and Zach S, ironically brought up the rear. Finally, the "Blue Crew" taught us the new Fight Song in preparation for Saturday's Homecoming:
