At the school's annual assembly celebrating the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. and the array of diversity we have in our community, a group of students and staff told the story of the Children's Crusade to end segregation...
...in Birmingham, Alabama in the spring of 1963.  Readings were interspersed with historical video clips and student performances of poetry, song, and dance.  The message was clear.  Our students, no matter their age, can make a difference and it was evident at this assembly. View more photos.
