CCS Champs for Fourth Consecutive Year

Congratulations to all our cross country athletes who competed at the CCS Championship Meet at Toro Park in Salinas. The boys won their fourth consecutive CCS Championship with an exciting come-from-behind victory while the girls finished in third place.

The girls finished in third place as a team with junior Ella R qualifying for the State Meet as an individual (third year in a row for her). Great race also from freshman Sammie C who improved her time from her previous effort on the course by two minutes, 28 seconds.

The boys won their fourth CCS Championship in a row (seventh overall in the 10 years Crystal has competed at CCS) with an exciting come-from-behind victory. They were trailing Nueva by 9 points at the halfway point of the race and managed a 3-point victory by the end. Nicky M and Aiden D took the top two spots with Nicky winning the race with a time of 15:59.0 (new school record and 12th fastest time overall in all the races). Results can be found here.
