CCS Track & Field Results

The boys 400 relay (Grant P, Nick M, Max G, Max Z) ran their fastest time of the season with a time of 44.09 which is .02 from the school record. They finished 14th out of 29 teams. In the girls high jump, Elaine C finished 24th out of 29 competitors. Great season for Elaine qualifying for her first CCS meet.

In the boys 110m high hurdles, Max G ran 16.67 to finish in 24th place out of 31 competitors. His heat had a pretty significant headwind which definitely slowed the times down.

In the boys 400m, Nick won his heat with a time of 49.97 which is the second fastest time of the season for him. He qualifies to Friday's final seeded in fourth place with the top three finishers advancing to the California State Meet.

In the boys' 300m hurdles, sophomore Max G, ran his second fastest time of the season by .04 seconds to finish 18th out of 31 competitors.

In the boys' 200m, Nick finished second in his heat to finish 13th out of 35 competitors.

In the last event of the day, the boys 1600 relay (Grant P, Max Z, Aiden D and Nick M) finished second in their heat with a time of 3:27.82 which is a new school record. They finished in ninth place overall out of 32 teams and just missed making the final by .33, but are the first alternate.

Congrats to Coach Car all the competitors!
