Crystal's US Athletics Hall of Fame
Upper School athletes, coaches, and families recently gathered for the annual Athletics Awards Banquet organized by the Gryphon Club. In addition to celebrating the dedication and accomplishments of athletes from the current school year, the event is an opportunity to induct alumni to the Crystal Athletics Hall of Fame.
The 2017-18 inductees excelled on Gryphon teams and as college athletes. They include Nick Neely '03 (Cross Country, Track at Brown); Tanya Rinderknecht '01 (Volleyball at Brown); Vander Shanholt '03 (Soccer, Baseball at Middlebury).
In its inaugural year (2016-17), the Hall of Fame honored inductee Veronica Perez '06, a top soccer player at Crystal, the University of Washington, and now for the National Team of Mexico.
Congratulations to all of our athletes. Go Gryphons!
