CSUS started to dominate early in the game. The team possessed the ball well and were passing through the defense easily. After a few missed opportunities, CSUS had their first goal of the season in the first half by senior Meg D (Camille L assist). Shortly after the first goal, freshman Nadia N (unassisted) scored, making it 2-0. During the second half, Shasta-Summit came back strong, but missed a couple opportunities with goalie Elaine C making some great saves for CSUS. Camille L had a breakaway and finished a great shot from the left corner for a final score of 3-0. The Gryphons showed great teamwork!
